Wales Coast & Mountains tour itinerary

Travel north to the Roman and medieval city of Chester with over 2000 years of history. The city is surrounded by walls and has military museums and a Roman amphitheatre. Then across the border into Wales, visiting some truly amazing scenery on the North Wales coast.

Day 2 begins with a visit to the fishing village of Conwy, home to one of the most imposing castles in Britain. Built on a rock overlooking the city the castle was built by English King Edward I to ‘contain' the Welsh. On to Snowdonia, where we have a guided tour through the magnificent mountain scenery of Snowdonia National Park. and a memorable steam train ride into the mountains!
