Overview |
| |
Although
famous for the the Roman Baths, the city is better defined by its
18th century elegance, a city with fabulous architecture, a rich
history... an explorer's paradise.
Don't miss the wonderful architecture of Royal Crescent and The
Circus, or the last great medieval church, Bath Abbey, unique Pulteney
Bridge, several quality museums including one dedicated to Jane
Austen who lived in the city, and the maze of narrow shopping streets
in the central core. |

|
What
can I see? |
 |
 |
| |
Perhaps,
the most beautiful city in Britain |
| |
The
only functioning Roman Baths in existence worldwide |

Plan
for the day |
|
|
We
leave Cambridge early for the long journey to Bath - a rest break
is included in the journey. On arrival, there will be an informal
walking tour into the city centre concluding outside the Roman Baths
from where you will have free time to explore. Bath is not a large
city so the best way to explore is on foot. Meander through the
picturesque streets to sample Georgian architecture at its best.
We leave Bath late in the afternoon to make the journey back to
Cambridge to arrive mid-evening. |
